D0ubl3Eagle Pillar of the Community United States 5854 Posts	Posted 05/29/2012 3:53 pm Beautiful coin even as a 62. I think one possible reason that this coin graded a 62 may have been some the scuff marks that I see under the eagle. I have a SLQ that has some of those same scuff marks under the eagle but the rest of the coin doesn't have too much going on with it. It was graded MS-62 by NGC. Report this Post to the Staff

In addition to the rim mark mentioned, there's a small portion of the outer wire rim that is flattened a bit (look closely just above the 2:30 position). Neither of these touch/affect the reeding on the side, nor the design along the inside of the rim. Report this Post to the Staff
