I was intrigued by the rim and color of this penny. the right ridge appears doubled with small breaks also the face is red and turning the coin on its side shows red.

I sometimes see more modern LMC , and they start to get this patina, I then wonder what history has in store for them, and what some of the LWC that are woodies looked like at this age.
I kinda like the green growing substance. I (not by design) threw a cent that looked like that in with some wheat cents I had and started a whole collection of green growing coins
