I'm working on it, but waiting for Dansco to release updated album. Still have a long way to go.

From my point of view US type set is part of my world type set, so yes I'm in it! At the moment I'm mainly focusing to 20th century issues so the older are waiting now. Another thing which keep this slow is the fact that US coins are not that cheap compared to other world coins. I don't use Dansco albums - just 2x2's for US and other coins.

I really am surprised that 10 people have answered that they are not interested in the album at all. I wonder if all 10 of them has ever seen one in person

Upgrades are why I might never really finish. btw, I found CCF Googling around for '7070'.

the 7070 album is the one "collection" of coins that I have that gets the most Oooh's and Ahh's from the people that see it. It can be a very rewarding set to look at and show, no matter what condition you choose to fill the holes with

I voted "Quest Complete" because my album is completely filled, but the truth is that I am always looking to upgrade the coins in my album and therefore my quest will likely never be truly complete.

I am on the quest, but its more of a long term kind of thing for me. I am aiming for a nice circulated set - I dont want to pour too much of my resources into it as I have other collecting goals. Being in Australia also makes it difficult, as some of the coins are difficult to acquire from Aussie Dealers (I really want to avoid ebay as much as possible). I would do the gold type set - but again, due to the difficulty of obtaining slabbed examples (I will only purchase slabbed US gold from now on because I dont want to get taken by fakes) this will probably take me years or decades. I have to say, the USA has the best looking coinage in the world, but a lot of the "fun" factor has been taken out of collecting them. The US coin market is far too "over-commercialised" for my liking and the expense of ammassing even a basic collection is staggering, considering many of the coins arent even that rare. But still, I want a complete US Type set for my collection. I know I have offended most of CCF's American Collectors, but having collected world coins and Australian coins prior to working on the USA, it just isn't as fun as it could be.

I am currently working on one, and I'm winding down on the few more I need. Although I'll probably never really be done with upgrading and such, but I really like the set and it's definitely not one I'm trying to rush through.

I'm on the quest. About half done. Most of the harder coins left though. I have no timetable so whenever I come across an acceptable coin and have the money I get it but I can wait for that coin rather than settle for less.

I voted on the quest, because I started the gold page last December. I still have 4 more gold coins neeeded to complete that page, I am hoping to pick one up at the coin show this weekend.
Then I will be in the upgrade stage.

I'm on the quest! close to done (don't have any pics though) only about 7 left. After I finished a couple circulation sets I fell for that "well worn" look and decided to try to do a cheap version (similar to CaptainFWiffo's Buffalo nickels) but for...well...the 7070. So far so good!

I'm on the quest but am finding it difficult to get a few holes filled. Things are getting pricey. 10 holes left 16 coins I'm not happy with
