So Does Ebay Hate Money?

Anyone that used ebay frequently to buy coins likely received an email recently stating that ebay would not be allowing wildcard searches anymore, with speculation coming from many that this was to cut down on IT costs. I think we can confirm this.





I think this speaks for itself, but I am really mad now, as this kills my ability to find coin deals without extensive browsing, which is exactly what ebay wants. They stated that by using the limitation function (Minus sign outside a bracket containing terms to exclude separated by commas) users could make up for the lack of the wildcard. Well, how can we do that if the search field is limited now? How exactly do I search for silver dollars from 1935-1967, and 1992-2012 in one search praytell?

I can't. I am seriously considering stopping dealing with ebay, this is ridiculous.
