What do you think of this tetradrachm please?Do you think the style is correct?..It's around 17 grams.

I'm no expert on these, but this one doesn't look right to me.

I don't know Greek coins very well, but I will be interested in what others think about this coin. Like echizento, I too think this coin doesn't look right. The owl seems wrong. I hope though that I am the one that is wrong and that you have an authentic piece of history.

The style does look a bit suspect, and so does the surface texture.
Where did you get it from?
Most coins of this value have a good provenance.

I've looked at a few hundred of these coins, and I've never seen one like this.
The owl's eyes and the pebbly body are odd, as is the flan shape.
It may be possible the coin is a contemporary imitative type, minted outside Athens.
