I have both coins. Actually I have multiples of both coins :(((( I like the bumble bee better. But it helps that I have the ladybug as well. The Toronto coin is nice and the bigger size compliments it.

I wasn't collecting coins at the time that both of these coins released. The original price for Toronto map coin was $179.95 and the bumble bee was $139.95. Both coins are doing quite well. Bumble bee coins seems to be doing better
edit: given a choice, my wife would prefer I spend it on bumble bee rather than the Toronto map coin.

The TO Map is still available at issue price. Obviously the glass bee is not. As well, the bee is part of a series so it will probably have more upside in the future.
That said, I prefer the map coin because of it's size and weight.

I picked up the CN Tower/Toronto map coin a while back. It's one of my favourite and never put away. The coin is large enough to give intimate details to the images portrayed. Very Nice.

As a person who live in Vancouver, I have zero interest in the Toronto coin. So I will get the bumble coin. Like other people have said, the lady bug and bumble coin have worldwide appeal while the Toronto coin is of most interest to people living in Toronto and the province of Ontario. Low mintage means nothing if there is little interest in the coin. You can still get the Toronto coin at issue price. What does it say about the demand when it can't arise above issue price for two years? Of course, if the mint decides to make coins for every city in Canada, watch the price of this coin rocket. You would need it as part of a set.

When the city map coin when released they did advertise possibly more to follow..the coin does go with that world set.I believe a Swiss mint minted all the different cities

I have been eyeing the TO coin for quite some while now, and considering you can still pick it up @ issue price. It's well worth it in my opinion

@Coin Chick: Oh, I have the same problem too. I don't sell my coins, but many times I would buy an extra. I can't help but worry that if something happens and I ruined one, I still have a backup :)
