That would have been an amazing colourisation.
Lost opportunity. Or perhaps just not feasible with the fineness of the plant's "hairs"

IMO, add some colors on it, this would be a very nice coin. (compared with the original photo) Coins about nature, wildlife look more better with colors on them.

The link works at my end. I tried it being logged in or out.
Might be a glitch.

@ silverdollarnuts, yeah, I feel the same way.
I would have purchased all of these coins if they were 1.0oz instead of 0.5oz (or less)
Lucky Loonie - $1 Fine Silver Coin (2012) $10 Fine Silver Coin - Highway of Heroes (2011) $10 Fine Silver Coin - Winter Town (2011)

It looks beautiful, even without the colouring! Thanks for passing along the release information. I check this forum more often then the RCM website, so posts concerning upcoming RCM NCLT's are always appreciated!

Lucky Loonie - $1 Fine Silver Coin (2012)
Try closer to 1/4 ounce (7.89 g) A Loonie that is 1 oz would have to be a double piedfort (almost four times as thick), or much larger diameter, making it not a Loonie. The Two Loons is not a normal dollar. It was made the same specs as a 1 oz Maple Leaf to have the same content as one.
