I recently was "seized by the moment" and bought a 2009 Canadian $5 Vancouver Olympic Privy Mark Thunderbird (1 ozt silver) coin. I believe it may be a special commemorative issue within the overall Canadian Silver Maple Leaf series. I got it for what I think/hope may be a good price (?)... Unfortunately, I can't find a listing for it in the only world coin value book I have. Can anybody clue me in on what a value range for this coin might be?

The last few that sold on ebay went for between $38.00 and $40.00 (before shipping charges). It doesn't appear to carry any premium above a standard silver Maple Leaf bullion coin.

It believe it was the second in a 3 coin series.

Thank you for the info. I think I need to get a bigger, better and more all-inclusive book. Happily (even though I made the purchase without knowledge of the coin), I paid a fair ballpark price and the shipping was reasonable. Thankfully, I didn't shoot myself in the foot.
