I too have had problems with dealers off of ebay. I find that dealing with the big dealers who advertise in NN or Coin World to be the most reputable because they have a big ego and do not like to have unfavorable comments made about their coins. Have had ver good success with those dealers.

I sure would like to see an avoid dealer list as well as a suggested or preferred dealer list somewhere. I've purchases coins from on line dealers in the past as although not a horrible experience, just never something to brag about. I believe most on line dealers feel they can get away with many things due to not much a person can do about it. Lodge complaints all over the place and not much is ever done. Even posting a really crooked coin dealer on coin message boards or forums only is visable by a few thousand people and the internet has many, many millions of viewers. A rather shaddy coin dealer can make a fortune long before anyone can actually do anything about the situation. Fortunately we have coin shows almost every weekend around me so puchasing coins via the internet is just not something I'll ever do again. One thing I've noticed is coin dealers that frequent coin shows appear to have the same deals on their web sites as at the coin shows. I think this is because they have an in person reputation to uphold. Possibly if a check of a dealer shows they attend and sell at coin shows they may be a more reputable choice if and when buying over the internet. One dealer at a coin show I always kid about all the mistakes on his web site and he gave me some decent valuable coins free for the suggestions and information about that site.

I see that about the bullion, still he did send me bad coins-why wouldnt they stand behind what they sell,Susan said it well: they are probably expecting a lot of returns. I took many pictures of them. Would any of you like to see them? I would like to know what others think of the "blemishes" I found. Maybe I did return ms 69-70 coins with a number of marks on them. They do come out very well in the pictures. I would also like to know what you would grade them. See if I am being to picky.

I can email the coins pictures to you or if I knew how, I would post them on this site.

thanks
