Now I've stripped it using Crest Pro-Health after which I will try to re-darken it using Deller's Darkener...  Lol, its sooo shiny its hard to get a decent pic.

OK here's the coin after I stripped it with Crest and darkened it with Deller's. Not bad...MS63 with details...

Thats really incredible! Can I see the reverse? That was taken with a scope? How do you get it so focused at that distance and capture the whole coin? I have microscope catastrophes.

I didnt much concentrate on the reverse but it's not bad. I didnt think the focus was all that hot.

Honestly though Raymo, that looks great! I wouldn't even imagine that was the same coin.

Thanks JBuck ! First time I've ever tried it on a Lincoln. The green 81 was nasty and was just gonna go in my coppers bucket anyways. Fun experiment. I started collecting last year and I was asking this old top on ebay about some of the coins I was receiving. He said I owed it to myself to learn what they were doing to the coins so I could learn to spot em.
