Beautiful pictures again canadian_coins! Love how you've added some colour to the coin! Did you take the picture with the Hulk standing in front of a yellow wall? :)

@canadian_coins, nice paint job! That gave me some ideas! Maybe we can hold a weekly or monthly coloring competition among our members. The pillars of the community(or a committee) choose a non-colored coin. Members will choose a winner among all the submissions! I'm excited already!!

@canadian_coins, hey, we said paint jobs, not chopped jobs! Well, if no one else submitted their work by the coming Monday, you're automatically the winner of this first round. :)

These are Aussie coins but it all depends on the initial design and how the coin is coloured as to whether or not they end up looking good . 4 types of finish here. business strike, proof, business strike hypermetalic finish and proof selectively gold plated finish. That pine tree coin is a nice design with or without the colour

Colorized coins always appeared to be more of a novelty to me. A true coin should be fat and made of pure metal (which ever it happens to be). I'm a big fan of big (thick) colorless coins....such as maples.

If that was made out of fine silver, weighed an ounce, was selectivly gold plated to enhance the leaves and had 2012 as the date, It would blow all the other 2012 Canadian offerings out of the water without question
