The gold coin is $69,000.00 for the person who asked. I am passing on these. :-)

@CC-Ottawa - Well, I did post product codes for these two items weeks ago.....
This means that the coins were on the Mint's page, just hidden.

@ suresh, if I won the 6/49 (biggest lotto in Canada), the last coin I would by would be the King George III Peace Medal.

I'd sooner get one if the Kilo Maple Leaf Forevers. Heck, I'd get both! :)

@jpaiva83 - I'll try to pay more attention to your posts especially the ones that get deleted.

Let me rephrase for you. Today is the first day that the Mint officially offered these coins for sale despite dealers having offered them more than a week ago. I find that curious.

Per the MC notification received today, the coins were produced by the Mint for a dealer (Gatewest) and now, the Mint is selling a small allocation of the coins from this dealer. Just an odd turn of events. Carry on.

What happened to the other thread about the 1812 toonies? Did it get eaten too?

I can't believe it, but I've already gotten an email that the toonies have shipped for me. Maybe things are getting better at the mint, or maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones this time.
