Well, when I was a lad, we didn't have all these fancy shmancy denominations, just regular American cents and Half Cents (except for all of those furriner coins and I heard about a Half Disme here and there). And we *liked* it, dagnabbit! Other denominations came along as I grew up, but nothing beat the feel of those big ol' pennies with the chain design on the back. Now get off my lawn!

@Garoyn you stated, Quote: Well, when I was a lad, we didn't have all these fancy shmancy denominations, just regular American cents and half cents then Quote: Other denominations came along as I grew up, but nothing beat the feel of those big ol' pennies with the chain design on the back.
Wow, not sure what your age group is but, being born in 1950 it is hard for me to believe your yarn.

Hello Weirdkidhere, Please forgive my tardiness in answering. I forgot to set the alarm and didn't wake up until now.:) Yes 1931 is my birth year. There is no talent involved, you just go to bed and wake up 30820 times and here you are. gigglegiggle. Regards Jim.
