Weirdkidhere, Thank you for your reply. We are having a summer day in November up here around the Great Lake area. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same. Jim.

Thanks for pointing me here, @Fuzzy317... and sorry for the duplicate poll. Just in case you weren't able to find this thread (rookie like me), I thought I would post a reply to bring the topic back into "current" status.
Side note: I'm extremely surprised with these results! Much younger than I thought in terms of demographics. Does the data represent collectors, or only those who are savvy enough to make it online?

Plus the poll was made 4 years ago so the numbers may have shifted a bit. I am surprised the youngsters here too, maybe they're just the computer savvy generation showing off their skills. ;)
For the record I'm 35 and have only collected for 2 years.

Don't look at the poll results and conclude most collectors are young. Maybe just conclude that many on this forum tend to be younger than the average coin collector.

I am a bit surprised to see so many younger people on this site. That does show the hobby is healthy and has a future.
I'd like to be in the 26-30 category. Unfortunately I'm stuck in the 66-70 group which kinda sucks.

Hello nss-52, You wrote ""This poll only shows the ages of those that choose to respond, and there is no way to validate the responses. Me, I'm 29, and have been for a while. "" My wife says she has been plenty nine for a few years now.

Hmmm I'm now in a different age bracket then when I voted in this poll several years back. I'm now in the 26-30 bracket. Good to see all of the younger members participating here.

Well IndianGoldEagle, looks like you and I are the only ones in the 66-70 range so far that responded.

The 66-70 range are having their afternoon nap. You know it's Friday night and they have to be alert at the dance and liven up the jivin'
