O.k I lined up both of those pictures, and the measures are perfect...
Also I said it has wear.

Heck, the date itself isn't even the same. Look how much lower the 9 is on the genuine one.

scubu.. tilt your head.. the picture is in an angle, I could not do better without turning it 90 degrees.
I examined it myself and yet again measure THE SAME...
how did I measure? with BIG PIXELS on paint I used straight line Tab for both coins. They Matched EVERY pixel.

I'd like to see pics of all of the confirmed 1936 dot's, just to see how well they match up with one another. Anyone know where we can find pics of each known and confirmed dot penny? Thanks.

yet again scubu that picture of the dot penny is angled.
The one that sold however has STRAIGHT picture like dead center no angle.

I Australia there are pennies and half pennies with dots in various places that acted as mint marks. they are small but can be seen with a Lupe even on worn coins. The dots are raised and not incused. The "dot" on your coin is not distinct and is not round but oval in shape much like all the other blemishes on your coin. Here is a dot on a worn Australian penny that would be about the same size that your dot should be.

Im sure if I had a perfect angle like the Original DOT penny, everything would match including the the " Round "

Not that I know what I'm talking about. I'm new as well. But in my view it almost looks like the dot in the genuine picture is slightly closer to the 3 and its completely round. The other coins dot looks more oval. If it was because of wear wouldn't it affect the whole dot not just the sides?

You need to find someone who has a camera set up to a microscope. The resolution of those photos are still poor, and we would need to see a much closer picture of the 'dot', but from what I can see, that is a die chip, and not the right size or shape for the "real" dot (and I have held a real 1936 dot specimen cent in my hands, when the Canadiana Collection was on display at Torex in the fall of 2009).
