Wish it were the small 7, but I didn't have 2 grand to spend. That one was $35.

I picked it up at the show. Wait 'til you hear what the guy who sold it to me said. He told me the day before he sold a raw VG 1799 for $1695! Even walked over to the PCGS booth mid sale to have it verified. Had I seen that, I would have found a way to come up with the money!

Thanks- Really like that 07. I'm glad all the previous users made sure that it only wore on the non date edge! Funny how that happens some time. A barely G coin with a strong overdate.

Hi Cipster- Nope, not medium. It's a tough one. I think the medium is much harder to find than the tall date. Here's how I tell. If the 6 leans to the right and the top is very closed, almost like a chubby 8, it's a small date. If the opening of the 6 is larger and it's not the tall date, then it's medium. The tall 6 also leans to the right, but the medium 6 is upright. I've posted one below.

BTW, if you go by the varieties, 17/26 (65%) are small date, 8/26 (31%) are tall date, and 1/26 (4%) are medium date. That's just about what I see when I hunt for them, except maybe there's a bit more smalls.

Sorry Moe, but I think your medium date is an N-6 which is small date. Only the N-11 is medium date and the 1 is well inside the UBA. Got the book. Can't put it down.
