Ok. Thanks.

But, from the photos, could anyone who bought these coins directly from the RCM compare my COA and box label to theirs and tell me if there is anything that could let them think that these could be not manufactured by the RCM? I get your point and understand that there are more risk in buying from China than buying from Colonial or Gatewest. But I took a calculated risk and now that I have them in hand, I honestly believe they are genuine.

The weight is right, the Chinese seller I bought the rabbbit from is active on ebay since 2003 and has a 100% feedback and the price is not ridiculously low compared to the RCM emission price (it's not like, for example, the $10 Glass Butterfly available elsewhere on ebay).

So, again, I understand that China has a bad rep for counterfeit but if anyone could help me by objectively comparing my photos to the 100.00% safe RCM release, it would be really appreciated.

@thecurse9

I collect the Lotus series (do not have subscription), so I will take a look at all of mine boxes and COAs (2010-2014) to see, what is written there and to compare with yours.

Cause I do not have the subscription, I do not know, how exactly packaged, people get the subscription coins (assuming, that same as 2013 1oz O Canada came).

So, for O Canada subscription coins on the label mentioned (C) - as I understand "Cut" (Die cut). But you have "S" ....interesting.

I wished I knew you before I bought cases from you.

We then could split those fees & commission. lol.

I am happy with your cases. They are in great condition.

to CCF, nwonknu

Be patient and you'll find it.
I waited for mine half a year, just because haven't seen absolutely no one for sale. And now I have it and happy with it...thanks to CCF member.

Actually, I can point you at one box for sale.
But...big money you need to spend and some work to do...

I picked up my Lunar Lotus Horse from CP when they had 20% off. Can't beat that combined with free shipping. I absolutely love it. I love this entire series. I think the Lotus coins look way nicer than the classic, just for the fact that the animals on the Lotus coins look more real. Sure, they are missing a lot of the Chinese symbols which is what they are all about, but the Lotus coins are so well done. There is so much detail on these coins. As for value of them in years to come? Only time will tell. When I was trying to find the Rabbit, I saw two separate coins that sold for over $250 on ebay. The price has dropped and risen since then, so it's really hard to place a value. But, I don't plan on selling so that's no problem for me.

Silveroid: I know, but I was talking about yours. You could sell it, all depends on the offer.

With all the sentimentalism, that sometimes I feel, yes - it is only the item...as all our coins (almost) - they just collectible items, that someday could worth zero.

nwonknu - I posted URL in one of the previous posts on this page, check it.

I afraid that price could be the issue.
But it was one only, that I found on ebay, since saw your post.
