I found this today going through a bucket of pennies. It is a 1993 with a long skinny die crack.

Nice die crack, are they rare in modern coins?

I got this 1975 quarter with double date, really circulated.

I posted a close up in another thread, here it is;

I haven't seen to many die cracks on the newer pennies and this one is very visible. They minted alot of pennies that year.

Yes I saw your quarter( nice doubling) and the closer pics you are taking with the loupe and camera, I tried but like you said you need a couple more hands to get a steady shot. What we won't do for the shot!

Colouring on the 2008 quarter was usually fresh. The 2004 they had an issue fading.
Hard to find a fresh 2004, not so hard on the 2008 or 2010. That one begs to be put away.

Yes you are right I haven't found a nice 2004 poppy yet, they are all faded. I do have a few really nice colour 2010, the mint must have figured it out. I have so little 1948 coins, so the nickel was nice to find.

ARP is just amazing here where I am... Good for those who still can find old coins to save. No fun here.

Don't despair Slurexe97, try hitting up those people with jars of coins sitting around, waiting to be picked over. Keep on hunting.

Only minor rim waffling. I got my 5 pack and noticed that the waffling wasn't too bad.
It's a pretty cool two headed coin.

Was at the bank today and saw at least 10 boxes pf cents in their coin cabinet. Bad thing is that they will not let me buy them. I picked up a few nickel rolls for something to do. Among those rolls I found one 1962 in MS condition and a 2002 specimen. That is the first specimen coin I have found in the wild
