I mostly collect mint and proof sets, but want to include all mint marks of any coin sent to circulation. I would appreciate any corrections/advice from Ike collectors: '71 and '71D missing from the mint sets, so I need to collect those separately. Same with '72 and '72D, but there are 3 varieties of '72 to consider. '71S and '72S proofs missing from proof sets, but available as Brown Ikes (40% silver). Brown Ikes from '73+ are just 40% silver version of the clad proof coins in the proof sets. '76 variety 1 in the '75 mint and proof sets '76 variety 2 in the '76 mints and proof sets '76 40% silver Ikes are just 40% silver versions of the clad coins in the mint and proof sets. Brown Ikes are 40% silver PROOFS. Blue Ikes are 40% silver UNCIRCULATED coins. Do I have that right? Report this Post to the Staff

Unlike previous 40% silver Eisenhower dollars, they were not sold separately in brown boxes or blue packs. 2. They were all sold as a part of the three coin bicentennial sets (uncirculated and proof). 3. They are all Variety 1 (1975 reverse).
