I bought Nickels from the bank this afternoon.
I didn't get anything worth while, until toward the end, this one jump out. I don't know if I have to cruse or jumping for joy.
I didn't collect Canadian coins, but this one caught my eye. The grade I think it is AU, and the year 1947 Maple!
I wish it is American, 3 years younger is fine.
I got another 1955 D after that, but machine scratch pretty bad.

It's a 1947 Maple leaf and it looks to be in real nice condition.http://coinsandcanada.com/coins-pri...ts-1937-1952

I too sort of don't collect Canadian coins but every time I get one in change, I keep them. And I too like those with the odd edges. Don't know why our US coins couldn't have a few like that.

Beautiful find! I have worked in a store for 2 and a half years and my oldest nickel find is a 1953! I would love to find this!
