i don't mind auctions with a reserve because I don't even bid on them. However it is super annoying when there is a best offer option, but they reject every single offer, even if its a dollar short.

How about all the BIN spam which is way overpriced?

Here's what I don't get about reserve prices: if someone won't take anything less than $50 for something, why not start it at $50?

My thoughts exactly Quote: How about all the BIN spam which is way overpriced? People are free to ask what they want but some of them are so absurd all you can do is laugh Quote: However it is super annoying when there is a best offer option, but they reject every single offer, even if its a dollar short. I dont understand the point of having it in such cases.

That 3 strikes on the offer that they put in place is quite annoying, especially when people set the automatic rejection too high. I've seen listings with BIN set to $35, so I put in an offer of $30 and it gets automatically rejected. Then $31 and $32 get automatically rejected. Really? What offer would they consider, $34? Why bother.

I just set the price of my items at the minimum I would sell it for. Sometimes it takes a few times putting it up, but since it's free, its not a problem really.

That's the way to do it. Just don't use the words no reserve. For some reason, some bidders think that a start price over 99 cents is a reserve (which it isn't).

Thats how I price my items too. Id rather not waste everyones time with auctions that I wouldnt want to sell something for if the price didnt meet a reserve

Yes to both, and a 3rd that is up there for me is when a seller drags their feet shipping an item. I know most people do ebay on the side to make a little extra cash, but a seller who takes 4-7 days to ship an item after getting an immediate payment from me is quickly put on my do not buy list.

Hidden reserves are so annoying. Quote: These aren't the droids you're looking for.... You can go about your business.... Move along.
