Looks like a "Struck With" a flathead screw driver... lol..

is the area incused?

Yes it is incused but if it was a screw driver wouldn't there be zinc showing?

From the few I have seen it does not seem that the zinc shows on a strike through. So I think it is a strike through a piece of wire or the die?And it looks like late die deteriation also.

Or struck through a rim bur. Probably a keeper, but I wouldn't expect much of a premium.

I can see the "W" inside the indent which suggest a struck through.
