So I posted a link in another thread about these 23k gold star wars collectible cards, and from the research I have done they are .5 gram actual gold weight and weigh 2 grams total....

Gold foil over a paper cardboard card basically....

Now then if there is indeed a true half gram of 23k in each, not a bad deal at this price which seems to be the average buy it now, just 15 bucks. I posted in another thread as mentioned an the guy was asking like around 45 bucks, or what QVC was selling them for full blown retail back in mid 90's. But again if truly .5 gram of gold then you are getting a great deal at 15 each, and they are some listed at 3.99 plus ship on running auctions....

I can't imagine there really being a true half gram of gold in these cards, or they would not be listed so cheap....

Most of them are limited to 10,000 and half a dozen or so different types. So if they are a true half gram of gold plenty to go around....

They have been making these 23K gold cards for years and a lot of suckers have ripped themselves off by getting them. They aren't made of solid 23K gold. They are normal cardboard collector cards that are done with just a really thin 23K gold plate.

They make many kinds of these 23K gold cards and everyone is selling them at that price or cheaper.

Yes Jason great points I agree 100%....

I would just like to see how much gold weight these cards have after being stripped from all cardboard and paper and I have a strong feeling it would not total up to a half gram....

Probably wouldn't even equal 1/8 of a gram of gold. There is probably only a couple of grains on it.
