Great looking bar....

Notice someone notched it a few times mid way on the right side to determine if it was silver, lol....

Engelhard with all the proper markings, but who cares just more personality. But humans kill me with how they will hack a piece up sometimes or often ruining it along the way to find out if it was silver, when there are other ways....

Magnet, rub stone acid test, drop test on small section, weight, check records to see if serial matches, etc.. No doubt a nervous pawn shop guy who bought it along the way, and can you blame them I guess, covering his back....

Actually silverhawk, the notch is in the back, and a bit smaller.

Those marks I believe is from someone"pinging" it with a screwdriver. They are just to perfect to be cuts, like little semi circles with varying impressions. The biggest one must have been loud.

But you're right, little things like that add character.
