^^^ I think it is a matter of access to supply. How many people have access to thousands of 2005 NBU sets to check?
400K sets with a 1/1000 scarcity would mean other people on here would have had to check 1000 sets. How many sets do you think have been checked?
And, remember the 1973 large bust. A dealer or dealers hoarded the collectors sets and kept the population quiet. They are far more common then initially believed.
If some dealer in our midst is sitting on 500 of them, they are not going to tell us.

I suspect ot will take us 5 or 10 years to really have an accurate picture of the population.

What was the price tag on the one sold? Is that the only ebay sale?

The roll hunters also can check for a 2005 no p no logo magnetic. I found one by mistake as I was putting all the 2006 np nl ones aside when I was roll hunting and one grabbed my magnet I was elated. However when I turned over the coin it was a 2005 instead.I wish the coin did not have spots on the obverse but look at what it cost me.here is the obverse.Still try ing for a reverse scan as it is much nicer.

I bought this coin and delivered it (in person) to ICCS still sealed in mint pliofilm. Same grade and comments as the coin in the original post. Thanks kuh for sharing the listing, otherwise I wouldn't have snagged this baby.
