numismatist6 Valued Member United States 360 Posts	Posted 08/04/2012 11:34 am I have this coin which appears to be an error though it may just be a weak strike. Instead of 3 mace and 6 candareens it has 2 mace 6 candareens. The coin was weakly struck around the outer perimeter but there is no indication of the bottom (third) stroke of the number 3. This can also been seen in the other characters where the lower section looks worn. Numismat Pillar of the Community United States 1666 Posts	Posted 08/10/2012 11:06 am Seems to be a combination of a weak strike around the perimeter and wear on the central design. On these coins this is not uncommon for the outer part to be weak, though the central parts are typically well struck. The missing rim denticles below those letters support this.
