JokingJoker,

A question: How does the fact that this couple ran a ponzi scheme affect the grading service they own(ed?)? If one can objectively compare the coin in their slab to others he owns, or to other "live" examples and the coin appears to be correctly graded, does it matter who the owner of the company is? Would an ANACS or PCGS slab make the coin any better?
Please don't get me wrong; I understand the problem and will avoid coins in this company's slabs, but I see no reason to return the ones I purchased just because they are rated by this company.

Shalom,

A question: Out of all the people who posted on this thread why direct your question to me? I found some information regarding what was being discussed earlier and posted it. Now to address your question. The fact that the judge handed down a lengthy prison sentence to the couple and the fact that they were the ones placing the coins and assigning the grades into these basement slabs is how this particular ponzi scheme affect the grading service they owned. Secondly I will address your comment about seeing no reason to return the coins you purchased because they were rated by this company. You may want to go back and read the entire thread again. No where in it did I request, suggest or demand you return your coins to anyone. Where you by your coins from and what you do with them is your business.

Jokingjoker,

I apologize if I offended you in any way, that was never my intention. I merely relied to you because you replied to my original post; that is how it works in most forums I go to.
As for the rest, it was also never meant to be argumentative, merely an observation.

Anccoin.com, located in West Tillamook, Oregon, is registered to:

Beatty Spencer
14911 Gentilly Place
Tampa, FL 33624

This address, according to reverse lookup at Whitepages.com, belongs to someone named Nancy Reyno. It's a residential neighborhood, according to Google Maps.

Hcgshallmark.com, located in Vancouver, BC, is registered to:

Jorge Socorro
14911 chantilly place
Tampa, FL 33618

Hmmm. "Chantilly Place" doesn't exist, according to Googlemaps. Nor does any other Chantilly, be it Street, Road, Avenue, what have you.

Draw your own conclusions.

Probably used to work for HSN and I'm sure are seasoned Numismatists

This thread is very helpful. I found a link with tons of pics and info pertaining to this topic.

I just found that this forum is blocking the link but it is on the "coin auctions help" site under third party grading services.
