Quote: (Btw is your name a Reservoir Dogs reference?) my ccf handle is my cat's name plus the year I joined ccf. Mr. Pink, 2018, but all crammed together with no punctuation... MrPink2018 it's an unavoidable pop culture reference that I'm okay with. I liked the movie, though I'm not particularly a Tarantino fan. the cat was named Mr. Pink due to his pink features (there was also a Mr. Grey)... his exposed skin areas are very pink.. ears, lips, nose, toe beans, and eyes... his eyes amaze me; his iris is blue, but sometimes when the light hits them just right & his pupils are dilated, they are electric pink.. I started taking him in during summer 2016 and letting him wander around exploring the apartment, and i'd follow him around talking to him, and I noted how very pink his features are, his name just developed into Mr. Pink, but, honestly, he does not respond to being called 'Mr. Pink', he responds to 'Bud'... Mr. Pink, my little crosseyed nitwit, a flame-point siamese, I love him tremendously.

I remember seeing a KGV British penny with an American Airlines logo stamped onto it. It gave me quite the heebie jeebies as an 8-year-old.

Now that the auction has ended, counterstamped III cents 1853 for circulation in the Azores islands. The GP counterstamp is genuine. Quite rare, very few USA coins counterstamped there. Too bad it was too expensive for my bid. Image is not mine to share, can only give link. https://www.numisma.pt/web/C/vm/138.0315.jpg

What I assume to be a JFK counterstamp while CRH. Yes, it is already in Acetone to pull the stickys off the Reverse.

Those Lincoln-Kennedy counterstamped pennies were attached to a piece of cardstock that listed "Astonishing Coincidences" between the two presidents, such as "Lincoln was elected to the House in 1846, Kennedy was elected to the House in 1946", "The last name of the presidents that succeeded both Lincoln and Kennedy was Johnson", "Kennedy was driving a Ford when he was killed, Lincoln was at Ford's Theater", and so on.

Ha, now we have a dilema. They claim uncirculated however the obverse has obvious wear. But the reverse looks like it was just yanked off the card yesterday. At a loss :-)

The reverse was protected, but the obverse was exposed for 52 years.
