Dear Friends here are the Pictures of the 1992 Close AM.Look foward to your Expert Advise on this Penny.
I included the pic of the BOW as courtsey of VarietyVista to compare the BOW with the Penny. Is it the same BOW? or the FG?
I can't say the Penny is not normal strike it shows DDO and DDR type attributes? What your views?
Does any one know where the Dye Markers for such a Penny are,I'd still like to give that a go on my Nikon?
I see a Scar running through the face.Is this a Struck-Through-Error?
I hope this one is a Winner,too.

PS:If you need more pictures...I am at Service.Hey,Just got me a nice looking 1990 Bronze strike or something goldish. The whole penny has this golden type color. No tampering signs at all.Clean.I checked the Ken Potters site and it does not show nothing on 1990 Penny as such but 1998 and I think 1997.

It looks more like a 1994 with obverse details obscured by a greasy die? But, I'll defer to the LMC experts here.

It's a 1994 for sure and not in very nice condition. I would toss it back.

The obverse is ODV-038 which eliminates the '92.

Why is this a seperate thread? Thought you were promising photos in the other thread on this coin.

IMHO ... It's a beat up 1994 ... worth 1 cent as stated on the reverse.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for the treasure hunt Mickey ... over time will come some knowledge that will assist you in distinguishing the ordinary from the treasure.

DrDon...I know less about American coins than Canadian coins, but wow, it sure looks like a 1992, doesn't it...?

Sorry about my freehand drawing....

Wert, I am a huge fan of your imaging as you know! BUT it's clear from the original photos of the coin, the crossbar in the "4". Coupled with the ODV-038 . This is a normal circulated (possibly Struck Through Grease or PMD) 1994 cent.

Sorry

I've outlined the leading edge of the "4". Compare to the '94 I added.
