Dear Friends I found this Brand New 1980 Penny and it showes some strange type of doubling on TRUST and other areas of the coin.

Appreciate your views and Expert advise.

I'm no expert. But it looks like Die Deterioration to me.

looking at the close ups you can see all the "polishing" marks so the die was used a long time.

You will know the 1980 DDO when you see it. It's much more obvious than what you're trying to make this to be.

You have a normal coin here.
