Ok - I'm not really a banknote guy but I do have the odd and end ones . In going through some stuff - I noticed that I put a note on a 71 $10 crow/bouey serial EEV6879138 . Can someone tell me if this is a premium prefix now as it was the switch over prefix between steel and lithograph backs I think . I don't have a current guide , mine is many moons old :-) . If someone can tell me some info and a current unc price , that would be great - thanks !

You're right, the EEV prefix was the changeover from the steel engraved printing to litho printing, the first 5 million were steel, the 2nd 5 million were litho. Charlton price at $45 in unc, whereas a common 3 letter prefix Crow Bouey is $30 in unc.
