Help-On-1907-Woodchopper

Hi All;
My neighbor found this note after the passing of his Father, and was trying to determine the approximate value. US Currency Auctions says $125-$225 in F-XF condition. It has 3 vertical folds and 1 horizontal fold, which I'm sure will affect its value. No tears or pinholes that I can find.

Any help is Greatly Appreciated. Thanks.

The condition will be around a very fine. From the Standard Cat. of US Paper Money the value is about $240. Finished auctions on ebay are about what you quoted. If you or your neighbor don't need the money it should be held on to. Its a nice note and it carries sentimental value, especially for your neighbor.

Thank you for your input. I don't believe he is interested in keeping the note. If he sells it, I wanted to know a fair price to offer him.
The prices I quoted came from a website I saw here posted by a CC member, not ebay. I did check out ebay, and saved a couple in similar condition to see what they sell for.
Thanks again.
