As with coins, the condition is very important when determining value for these notes. The existence of pinholes, tears, sharp or ragged edges and corners...all of these will be large factors in determining the value. Report this Post to the Staff
DavidUK Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 2624 Posts	Posted 08/26/2012 09:16 am Condition is a major factor, any rips, tears, pinholes, creases or dirt will take away value. I bought one recently for $75 without any damage except it was a little grimy and well circulated for $75 on ebay. It looked fine from the photograph but in the flesh was not as crisp as I would have liked. Some of these go for four figures in gem uncirculated condition. Still however nice yours turns out to be I think it is an attractive note and a good addition to any collection... maybe it will get you started on notes, I find coin and note collection goes hand in hand.
