It's certainly not the movie, it's the scarcity of portrait coins of Caligula, especially in precious metal.

Firstly my score is wrong, +4 +2 +4 = 10 not 8 ! Really I am not likely to win this thing as it is but I am starting to wonder if maybe I have upset the wrong person or something. My apologies for any offences I have perpetrated!
I think Doug is a shrewd collector who gives nothing away, so I will guess he didn't pay fortunes for this coin, with that logic I will guess...
