Assuming .715 ounces, if I've calculated correctly: $4699.30 face. At todays melt value of $32.53, I would have to spend $152,821.26 to buy my weight in silver!

Ugh! Maybe one day...

If I calculated the figures correctly I would need 4,612 Morgan dollars and at today's price of silver it would be worth over $115K.

I think that I'll have to wait for the price of silver to drop significantly to accomplish this goal.

very interesting topic

my weight is represented by 65 kilos of silver = US$66,000 at today's silver bullion prices.

In terms of 90%ag coins= 65k/90F/28gm= abt 2,600 morgan coins = US$ 2,600 in 1901 and these coins would cost minimum in G or F grade at US$78,000

for 65kilos of Gold bullion it's a little more difficult for me as I dont collect gold coins
