Went to Giant Eagle today. Found these.

The silver quarter I noticed right away. The other one I had no idea what it was until I got it home and got a better look. Score!

Great finds! Did you find these in change, or from a CoinStar? I can't believe someone would spend a coin from 1806! That's almost unheard of.

My wife asked if I was going to sell the half penny, looks like they are going for $30-$40 on ebay. I said I don't know, it's kind of cool to have a coin over 200 years old. Especially one I got for free!

Some incredible finds here, everyone!
I hadn't found anything at all in my local CoinStar for ages, but got a small haul today - a 2012 French 5 euro cents and 45 pence in spendable money!

1806 Half Cent!? that's insane! how that got mixed up in modern-era circulating coinage is anyone's guess. and then got dumped into a coinstar...
