A couple weeks ago I found a 1936 Canadian silver dime underneath one of the machines.
The King George V head caught me way off guard.

Only one coin in the reject slot today - a 1998 UK penny, but in remarkable condition for a 28-year-old coin, with nearly full mint lustre!

Dan, I liked that 1806 Half Penny by the way! Today I grabbed 4 modern Rosies and 4 corroded pennies plus a 1951 bus token: Honolulu Rapid Transit Company

And I thought my silver Canadian dime was a good find. I'd probably pass out from shock if I found a Half Cent in a Coinstar reject bin.

As I said I didn't know what it was at first, I thought it was a foreign coin or some sort of token. To be honest I was more excited about the silver quarter until I finally got a good look at what I found.
100% of the people I've told about finding it never heard of a half penny.
