No further Coinstar luck for me, but yesterday I parked in a municipal parking lot in Hastings and started putting some 50 pence coins in the meter. It kept rejecting them so I pushed the red 'error' button and an ordinary 2017 UK £1 coin fell down into the reject slot! After that, the machine accepted my 50p's!
