Fishnwidow Valued Member United States 228 Posts	Posted 03/13/2007 12:58 pm Hope the pictures are clear enough, I have never seen this before where the copper from the edge of the coin is on the rim and some of the obverse. scoutjim99 Pillar of the Community United States 4589 Posts	Posted 03/13/2007 9:33 pm If what I think you are talking about is correct I would say pull out a couple, of guarteres from your pocket and even a couple of dimes , you will quite often see difference in color on the rim a Copper color and a silver Like color. Fishnwidow Valued Member United States 228 Posts	Posted 03/13/2007 10:01 pm At about 2:00 on the coin to the right of the Y some of the copper from the rim looks like it bled onto the coin. I guess I have have just never noticed before, usually I just see copper on the reeded edge of the coin. Looks real neat with my 10x loupe, but maybe I need to get my eyesight checked.
