Well, I just placed a pre-order for the bullion version of the next 5-ounce ATB coin (Hawai'i Volcanoes), hoping to lock in a cheaper price if silver keeps going up. I also just bought a 1-ounce Platinum proof coin from the Mint in anticipation of the price going up $100 tomorrow. Other than that, though, I am planning on sitting tight and watching the value of my existing hoard go up... |

I picked up a 10oz bar of silver last week. Though being a student abroad in the land of Oz means I cant buy toooooo much.  |

jizer1: Just make sure that you do not exceed your 22 kg. baggage limit with all of those silver bars, when you eventually return home!
While you are in Sydney, drop in on the coin shop on the third floor of 262 Castelreagh Street.
One of the guys in there has been a numismatic buddy of mine for over 30 years.
LOTS of different numismatic goodies to look at, including some decent classic U.S. material, on occasions.
BTW, I finally became a member of the Australian Numismatic Association on the day we came across each other. The level of scholarship within this Association would be the equal to that of some of the most august numismatic societies in the World.

I'm new to the game, but I try to buy 2-3 oz every other week. Before the week is up, I'll probabaly get 3 more ASEs. Cost averaging and no selling for at least 20 yrs. is my plan.
I look at silver as a savings plan really. Not an investment. "Hidden", unspendable money. Or at least a fund that takes some effort to make it liquid.
Instead of stuffing an old coffee can full of extra $1 bills, I buy silver.

Duh...BUY BUY BUY. I wont let up on buying a bit of silver each week until it's at least $40+. From there it would have to go up a bunch (25%+) before I'd consider selling small bits.

I for one am definitely still buying. May not be as much as before. Being $26-$27 an oz less than a month ago? Buying til I die!

Yes, but pieces I am collecting like Britannias instead of the things I stack for silver value like ASEs.

The TL coin show is this weekend. I was debating whether to sell some replacement notes to the dealers for trade for silver maples. Would they give me 60% of their worth? I think 50% is a little low.

I'm not buying any bullion grade silver until drops back to that sub-30 range, which I hope will be in January if not sooner.

.925 5 oz Singapore bullion monkey medalion (with 2000 minted)[if interested ready to sell or trade this]
ready to pull the trigger for 10x1 oz of canadian silver ...
as soon as most arrive I'll post the pictures
about 25% of liquid assets are now in physical PM ... mostly collectible selling at premium ... even if pullback comes it will not stop me from buying ... cash is a king - relique saying ))

Im not buying bullion, ill get get numismatic silver and ASEs just cus I like them but other than that I'm on a hold to see whats going to happen

Actually I am trying to start buying set amounts on a regular basis instead of timing it. Probably depends on your time horizon and why you are buying.
