Hello,

Based only upon this NGC holder's contents:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1799-Draped...300689437473

I would say the grade of CCya's coin is a VF-20 primary because of the lack of sufficient vertical lines within the shield on the reverse.

IMHO,

It's just struck a bit softly. XF-40+
Rest in Peace

I am in the XF-40 category. I can see some remaining luster, and the beautiful toning gives it an "eye appeal" bump IMHO. This is just a "gut" guess.

I'm going with EF-40. There could be issues with the quality of the strike that are masquerading as wear. I've seen some of these in TPG holders that were graded 15 points better than I would have given them.
