I've been watching the penny set for the last few weeks. On average they are going for $250 a set on ebay.

If it goes to around 200 I may pick one up. Should have gotten one on the release but I missed the boat. I'll wait it out and see

250 on average? I see only one under 250, and latest ones are 300+

Alright, so I'll say 260-270 on average...
Heres the ones I was watching the last two weeks (book marked most of them)
$260
$326 (bad deal IMO)
$240
$270
$250
$266

Definitely possible to get one around 260-270.

You consider "shipping" as not part of payment seller receives? :)

I always include free shipping in my sales, so it wouldn't be totally accurate for sellers like me.

I've been thinking more and more about selling my one and only set.

Looks like they are still selling for $270 - $300.

$300 could go a long way to help my add some coins to my stash that I actually collect.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-SILVER...em5655f975c3

1 cent coin sold for $260 plus $50 shipping. Amazing.

Edit to ad:

The others from the same seller went for:

1908-1910 $135.50
1911-1920 $133.00
1920-1936 $131.50

Each with $50 shipping.

All USD.

Don't see the 1967.

Here is one for the whole set $396.

Haven't watched these in awhile but I guess the prices are creeping up.

re: @CC-Ottawa, I don't care what others think - that is totally insane. Collecting 'certified' coins is a big waste of money.
I know it's only my opinion, but come on 3 grams of silver - already established as a "proof" coin directly from the mint, originally selling for $30 - is expensive. Rebranding that same coin in a "certified case" and breaking up a set doesn't make it worth hundreds of dollars. I say it again, some coin collectors are insane. I've never bought into a "certified" coin, and never will. It's all marketing, and except for auctions on extremely rare coins I just don't see the point.

I don't have any certified coins and I don't understand the appeal for NCLT. Cannot believe the prices this seller received on recent sales.

Much better deal than this listing, $4,000 for a 70 graded one:
