On of the most common ancient coin types is the SOLI INVICTO COMITI type of Constantine, 307-337. Sol is usually nude with an asymmetric cape (sort of like Batman or Superman). The cape is usually covering his left chest and showing slightly on either side falling down his back. This coin, found in a junk box, probably because of the hole, has the most dramatic cape I have seen.

Very interesting reverse augustus1, Rome?
I've seen a Sol facing reverse before but it was sadly not in a junk box.

#2 Here is an answer to the call for a facing quadriga with Sol. Probus, 276-282, had several common types with Sol in a quadriga. Usually the quadriga is viewed from the side and quadrigas viewed from the side are common on Roman coins from the time of the Republic through this period, but prior to this type they are rarely seen as a "facing" quadriga. I think "Sol" was a great choice to give us a chance to show coins. They range from common Sol types of the third and fourth centuries AD to wonderful Greek Helios types. Everyone can afford a Sol of one sort or another.

This is the only one I have. Waiting for my RIC to get here to attribute it, but it's Constantine I. I need to find a better light source.

Come on folks. A few more hours left. It has rained here for the last few days and so the only Sol I have seen lately has been in this thread.....

Not the greatest coins as I've been a bit busy and didn't get a lot of time to think about it but did want to enter something. Hopefully just made the deadline Constantine and a Probus.

Compare BobbyHelmet's Probus with Augustus1's. The facing chariot shows wildly spread out horses with all 16 legs shown clearly. The side view is perfectly aligned and in step but there are only a total of 12 legs shown. There are several varied facing chariot poses in the various mints. My favorites show flames below the horses that serve the same purpose as the decorations on old time hot rods that look fast while standing still.
