Yeah, the offer screams flipper-ware. Way too much premium for a bullion investors.

Shipping was free for my order, and should be for anyone else if you are able to order a roll or more. Obviously there is a premium on these coins. However, right now they are only available through one distributor and were made at their request. The RCM is not selling these. As of right now, they cost about 68.00 per coin for an ounce and a half of Silver and have a supposed mintage of 500,000. If you are just jumping into the wildlife series trying to get the wolf coin, you pay around $60-$75 for an ounce of silver with a mintage of 1,000,000 coins. I would take polar bears over the wolf any day, but again I am not in it so much for the bullion game. If you are interested in silver investing, then there are plenty of other options besides this for you to do. While I like precious metals, I buy coins with designs that I like. I'm not into these for the bullion game. I posted them here for other collectors to see and be informed about, since I have yet to see or hear any information about these other than this thread and through the company that is selling them. I will most likely be keeping my roll of Polar Bears and NOT flipping them. I'm sure I could do so right now since it doesn't seem like many people have these, but at some point others will. I'm sure they will show up on ebay marked up a good chunk. I hope those of you in Canada that are interested in a few of these are able to grab some for decent prices once they become more available.

Considering how difficult they are to get, and that Canadians can't order them, I bet there will be a hefty additional premium on them once they do show up on ebay. I'm thinking $80+? I've also been searching ebay for those .75oz War of 1812 RCM bullion coins too and none have shown up yet either.

Very interesting. Thank you commems, canuck1us, Dcadon, and Platinum Duck for sharing the information. It's nice looking coin. The premium is quite high but I agree with Platinum Duck when compare w/ Wildlife Series. I need some heavy cash for these coins if I want to buy since you have to buy in multiple of 15. I am also wondering if this come out successful, will they make it a series.... that will be a cause of concern/celebration for those collecting or want to collect it. I am wondering why they don't ship to Cannada? Note: At $85/coin, with ebay charge 12% to 15% total in fees, that's pretty much breakeven money.... I think the price will go for more.

Yet another nice looking 1812 related coin. Goldline certainly have an interesting south-of-the-border perspective on the War.

"Commemorate America's second war for independence"
With a coin from a country that completely rejects that interpretation.
