ATB Quarter mintages can be found here.

Given that the Chicksaw-D has turned up in my change the least, despite being the second highest mintage D of the series, I'm not expecting an avalanche of Hawai'i Volcanoes-D Quarters in my change, either...

Three years into this and I'm up to maybe my fifth ATB found in change. Me and my daughter have very sad looking Whitman folders for this series.
Although I am still trying to build a "circulation find" set for fun (it is not looking so well at the moment), I will admit that I cheated by buying the circulation sets from the mint for 2010 and 2011. It appears that 2012 will require the same solution.

Here are the ATB Quarters I've found in change this year (minus any that I spent, like the mysterious polished Acadia-D I found):

Today, I will spend the four Quarters in the bottom of the second picture.

I might add that when I was on vacation in Washington state last July, I spent 40 ATB Quarters that I saved from circulation in 2011 and early 2012.

It must be nice living in a mint city. You need to come east and spend some.

How do they get into circulation?

They fly over the plastic guard at the hockey stadium ;)

JK...anyhow, I've gotten one or two of each in change at various stores.

I hate how I always see the ATB Quarters @ restaurants as change and never in my bank.

I get rolls of Quarters at the bank for spending purposes, always hoping to get BU ATB rolls, but no luck.

I should. Putting Denver Mint Quarters into eastern U.S. circulation would be way cool!

The tradeoff: my odds of getting a "P" ATB Quarter in circulation are somewhere around the odds of winning a lottery jackpot...

Truth be told, I doubt my odds are any better than yours. Philadelphia is a long, long way from here.

A bank near my house gets in the D mint ATB Quarters about 3-4 weeks after they're released. They set the box aside and sell rolls one by one at face for customers who ask for a roll. I've been lucky to get a roll every time I've asked for one which has been for every release.

The P mint ATB's I buy off ebay or trade. The S mint business strikes released in 2012 I've been getting off ebay at a premium.

They appear in circulation around here. I've gotten them at grocery stores often.

How about replying to one of the latest Littleton Coin offers. For face value you can get a complete P&D set of 2010 to 2011 ATB Quarters. All 20 for $5 in uncirculated condition.

https://www.littletoncoin.com/webap...splayDetails
Enter 2RN112

Want all 8 Native American dollars 2009 to 2012 P&D uncirculated for face value? Use the same link above and enter code 2RU203. Plus 4 free 2009 cents.

If you have not already opted out of their Coins on Approval service you will be sent coins which you will need to send back. If this is your first order with them the return shipping will be free. Just tell them you want to opt out and you can respond to these face value ads without having coins to return.

Guess what? Today, I got a Gettysburg-P in my change.

This one has more circulation wear and little scratches than the D's I get, of course, but it's presentable (problem-free AU, with nice luster and cartwheel).

Littleton has these nice date/design spaces only folders, which negate the mint mark issue. I have two of these folders: one for BU Quarters, one for actual circulation finds.

My Gettysburg-P is now in its own 2x2, because both of my ATB folders are all D Quarters, and the only other ATB P Quarters I have are all in their Mint Set OGP.
