Quote: In the case of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens Goalie Mask coins, it is believed that the surviving mintage is less than 50. And what happened to the rest? It looks like another painted coin... CoinChick, welcome back! You haven't posted for years.

Sure. However, on ebay these coins consistently command big money. They are very rarely made available.

I saw a dealer selling them at Nuphilex this weekend... he wanted $1300 for the Montreal and Toronto coins...

Most NCLT has lost value/price over the past 5 years, but these coins have only seemed to increase in value. I think if you could get a TOR or MTL coin in an NGC PF70 holder, you'd get $1000 bucks for it. Jmho.

These coins have basically disappeared now. I see a few on ebay between $200-$1000, but these coins aren't easy to find at all. It will be interesting to see what the price of these are during the next silver run-up.

I had all the mask coins except the Montreal Canadians which I bought for $55.00 for each. Sold all of them from $100.00 to $160.00 last year. I guess you never know which coins are going to increase in value. It's a crap shoot on most coins.

Agreed, Jimper. I pick them up if I can find them under $200 online, which has become increasingly impossible.

I bought them all from RCM when released I thought/think they are some of the best coins they ever released,I don't understand why there wasn't more interest in them. Personally they might be my favorite coins I own (Montreal and Toronto the most the colors I find extremely pop.

The Ottawa coin goes for $800 raw, and $1800 in PF70 on ebay. Would really like to get an Ottawa Mask some day ....

I sold an Ottawa mask earlier this year... for much cheaper. It was in an ICCS flip (no box, no certificate)...

SPP-Ottawa, I remember that one I think. Was it in PF67? I was watching it, but I missed out.
