Compare the 2010 Piedfort to the 2008 anniversary SML. The '08 is much better and has a significantly better upside. As will the 2013.

BTW, expect more 25th anny coins to be issued in 2013. Just my opinion.

I agree about design of 08' Anniversary Maple Leaf - it is looks better, than Piedfort. But except this, in my opinion, in overall liked more Piedfort coin and 2013 for their reverse proof finish.

All of these - have something special and unique.

Thanks jsinger21.

Although we all know, how it looks like, but the better view it of real coin.

As I said previously - it may help to decide to buy an item, or prevent unnecessary purchase.

thanks Jupitermoon for the photos. I will just wait for the next offer from RCM, a 2oz piedfort maple leaf, or a 25 oz maple leaf...? anyone remember the 1998 10oz maple leaf? I bought one several month ago for $450, cheaper than the 5oz penny:)

Thank you for your great picture, Jupitermoon.

I've bought the set yesterday (before looking at this thread). I agree about the presentation box complaint though. They may release a different set with better presentation box.

I think it's a good set and would go well with my 25th Anniversary ASE set.

I'm impressed at the RCM for their quick process. I got the mail package on Friday last week and the set quality is impeccable.

The set was not as fancy or unique as one would expect for a 25th Annie set.
As many have noted, a maple/wooden lacquer box would make a big different.
I also have to agree that the extra two leaves on the maple is clustering and cumbersome.

On the plus side: The groove to display the set is good. The younger Elizabeth II design is good, but I would have been nicer if it was dual face (of the current Elizabeth II design and the 1988 design).

Overall, the set is good. I would expect there are always flaws in any design/concept and it's very hard to satisfy all collectors.

This one surprised me. 1/10th oz coin from the fractional set sold for $152.50 USD.

It has been grade but the set is still available for issue price from the Mint.

Expensive plastic.

A full set just went for $260 on ebay.

Must be a full moon.

I've been tempting to buy this set for a long while now. I don't own any SML. I saw the The Queen's Diamond Jubilee - 2012 Royal Silver 3-Coin Set today and wish the SMl set is in the same box as that.
