I am working on finding something similar, with no luck so far.
I was given this site, which has some great pictures and information regarding this era of Oriental coins

It's mediaeval Indian. The language on it is Arabic. "Sultanate of Dehli" is almost always the origin of these pieces, but I'm not proficient enough in the series to give you a more precise ID. These very dark-coloured coins are often made of "billon", a very debased silver alloy.
