Hello. A friend of mine ran across this error cent and I have not seen an error like this before. Errors are not my specialty but I do know a little bit about them yet still I do not know what this coin is. Can someone please inform me and give me a possible value of what it might be worth? Thanks so much in advance!

Not an error, just a damaged coin worth 1 cent. It was created by smashing this coin between two others and is commonly called a "garage job".
