I am by no means learned on that era but I thought it was well done. Certainly raised some differing opinions in regard to Gaius Julius Ceaser Augustus Germanicus' (learned that too) mental state. Overall I was more than entertained for a couple of hours....
I saw it last night after Pawn Stars was on. I am not sure he was crazy like I had always heard though. I think he may have thought his actions were funny and thats why he was doing it. He liked the feeling of power and making everyone else know what power he had and making them uncomfortable
Quote: Was it good
it was educational and I learned some things I didn't know
I thought it was well-presented and the information very detailed and interesting. I knew Caligula was one of the more infamous emperors (for supposedly being crazy), but I didn't really know the details why.
From other discussions, it wasn't wholly, but I liked it allot.Allot more accurate that some of the recent Roman era movies :) It was a little one sided IMO but not so much as other shows about Caligula are. I'd give it a 4 out of 5.
